Mpumalanga Skills Development Zone Opens Opportunities for Local Enterprises

On 29 October, South Africa launched its first Skills Development Zone in Mpumalanga, connecting education institutions, employers and government with the aim of building skills for emerging energy and industrial value chains. The initiative also seeks to create opportunities for local entrepreneurs and small businesses to participate in new supply chains. No dedicated startup fund or investment amount was announced.
