South Africa Earmarks R20 Billion for Infrastructure Projects Under Evaluation

In its 21 October budget statement, the government said R20 billion was earmarked for infrastructure projects still being evaluated through the Budget Facility for Infrastructure. The statement also highlighted the need to improve infrastructure delivery and address weaknesses in water systems and municipal service provision.
